Become a Member
Membership of a peak organisation provides an opportunity to work collaboratively on issues affecting the sector. It provides an opportunity for peer support and joint approaches to Government and other bodies impacting on the sector.
There are several categories of Membership for the Association with varying fees and benefits of membership.
Members (Levels 1-5) : Organisations (whether incorporated or unincorporated) whose businesses comprise to a substantial part the provision of hospice and palliative care services may become member organisations of the Association. Member organisations will act through and be represented by their official representatives for the purposes of this Constitution.
Individual Members: Individuals with a bona fide interest in the provision of hospice and palliative care. Individuals are eligible to vote in the annual election for Board members.
Subscribers: Individuals with a bona fide interest in the provision of hospice and palliative care.
Life Membership: It is the highest honour an organisation can endow on its members and it recognises significant and sustained contributions to the objectives of the organisation and its mission and vision. Palliative Care Victoria invites nominations for Life Membership each year.
