PCV Artwork Commissions

Palliative Care Victoria is seeking to commission Victorian Aboriginal and /or Torres Strait Islander artists to create two distinct artworks which will be used in digital and printed resources across Victoria.

Artists are invited to submit an expression of interest for the artwork commission, including examples of past artwork. Following the EOI, the artist will be selected by a panel of the project Steering Group members, PCV CEO and Board Chair, from a de-identified shortlist. The commissioned artist will be supported to produce the artwork and digital reproductions for project use. Palliative Care Victoria will acquire the final artworks for their collection and own the digital rights going forward.

Artwork Commission 1

The artwork will represent stories of palliative care and end-of-life care from across Victoria, highlighting that Palliative Care occurs in every community, at home, in hospital and in residential aged care.

Artwork Commission 2

This artwork will represent a current Palliative Care Victoria project, that focuses on partnerships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community members to design and implement a model of Culturally Safe Palliative Care and End of Life Care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in residential aged care.

Please submit an expression of interest letter to project5@pallcarevic.asn.au.
