Making it easier for families and carers to get help

This resource provides information about care and support for people with a life limiting illness and their families living in Victoria.

Some information will be useful for all carers throughout Australia.

It covers:

  • Start points to get help – health care, aged care, disability services, service search
  • Specific groups – older people, people with disabilities, children and young people, Aboriginal people, people from diverse cultural and language backgrounds, people with mental health needs, and LGBTI people
  • Specific topics, including: aids and equipment, complaints, communication assistance, financial help, respite, spiritual care, transport
  • Tips and tools for safe care.

As it includes active links to websites, it will be most helpful when used on a computer.
