Summary

Advance Care Planning Volunteer Community Ambassadors are involved in establishing and supporting community awareness of advance care planning. This may occur through information sessions and presentations, the National Support Service, shared stories, education and direction to resources supporting advance care planning.

Selection Criteria

We would love to hear from you if:

  • You have an interest in advance care planning (or learning more) 
  • You have a passion for person-centred care 
  • You have excellent written and oral communication skills 
  • You can put complex information into simple terms 
  • You are confident in relaying information over the phone and have an appropriate telephone manner 
  • You have a background in health, law and ethics, policy advocacy, consumer representation, education or similar 
  • You have access to a desktop or laptop computer, the internet and can confidently use them 
  • You are available to provide at least 8 hours per fortnight between 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday (AEST) for at least 12 months 
  • You live in Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland or Tasmania
