Biography Training Scholarships

Regional/Rural Palliative Care Services Opportunity

Eastern Palliative Care Biography Training
31 July and 1 August 2018 at Mitcham

PCV is offering limited scholarships to enable Managers/Coordinators of Volunteers in smaller regional/rural palliative care services to attend the EPC training at Mitcham on 31 July and 1 August on how to establish and run a successful volunteer biography service.  The 2-day session includes hard copies of train-the-trainer notes, policies/processes, guidelines and forms.

Scholarships will cover the course fee ($880.00) and, if required, a contribution of $200.00 towards accommodation costs for scholarship recipients.

It is a requirement that scholarship recipients provide PCV with data, at six and twelve months, about the rollout of the biography program in their service and any shared training of volunteer biographers with other palliative care services.

To submit an application, you will require the approval of your CEO or a senior manager.

Applications must be submitted online by 5pm on Monday 28 May.
