As demand for information sessions about palliative care and advance care planning continues to grow, Palliative Care Victoria (PCV) is delighted to welcome three new volunteer facilitators to our team!
Following a successful recruitment drive, Fiona Le Roy, Jane Kupsch and Kelly Ogden recently joined us at the PCV office for their induction. It was a wonderful opportunity to meet some of the PCV team in person, learn more about our organisation and Board, and explore the resources available to support their new roles.

Our three new volunteers will join our existing team of dedicated facilitators, who help make important conversations about palliative care and advance care planning more accessible to people in our communities.
Over the coming weeks, Fiona, Jane and Kelly will take part in comprehensive training to prepare them for facilitating community information sessions with confidence. We are also looking forward to bringing our new and existing volunteers together for a training and team-building session, where they can get to know one another, share experiences and learn from each other.
Beyond delivering information sessions, our volunteer facilitators also play a valuable role in supporting the PCV team at community expos and events, helping us reach even more people with information that can make a real difference.
A warm welcome to Fiona, Jane and Kelly! We are excited to have you on board and look forward to working together to empower more people to have informed conversations about palliative care and advance care planning.
