Echuca Regional Health palliative care team embraced this year's theme for National Palliative Care Week 2023
Palliative care team members donned t-shirts emblazoned with the NPCW 2023 logo, Matters of life and death, to help promote the benefits of palliative care to their community and work colleagues.

Amongst the week's activities the team hosted a lunch for the entire organisation and their bereavement walking group members. Those attending were invited to bring a dish that reminded them of a lost loved one.
Contributions included Irish brown bread for Tristan's Mum, quiche for Chris, fruit cake for Bailey's Dad and dainty cucumber and cream cheese finger sandwiches for Nanny.

The week's events wrapped up on the Friday with a tour of the hospital handing out self-care treats for the staff. In the words of Katherine Formica, NUM community palliative care ...
