Permanent Part Time 3 days per week Are you passionate about walking alongside individuals and families during one of life’s most challenging journeys? At EPC, we believe that compassionate support can make all the difference—and we’re looking for someone who shares that vision. In this meaningful role, you will provide counselling and emotional support to people experiencing grief and loss, helping them find strength and meaning in difficult times. You will work as part of a dedicated interdisciplinary team committed to holistic care.
Selection Criteria
What we are looking for:
- A mandatory relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work, Counselling or Psychology, or a Bachelor of Theology/Pastoral Care and minimum two Units of CPE.
- Post graduate qualification in bereavement, or willingness to undertake them.
- Eligibility for membership of, or registration by, relevant professional bodies.
- Experience supporting people experiencing grief and loss.
- Strong counselling skills, group facilitation experience, and a warm, empathetic approach.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, and the ability to collaborate within a team.
- Experience working as part of an interdisciplinary team and in community palliative care will be well regarded.
- Current drivers’ license and good driving record.
