Eastern Palliative Care Ltd (EPC) is a not-for-profit organisation that delivers specialist home-based palliative care to clients and their families living within the Eastern Metropolitan Region of Melbourne.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Recruitment, onboarding and training new volunteers
• Development of strategies to strengthen diversity of EPCs volunteer cohort
• Maintenance and oversight of volunteer management database (Better Impact) and preparation of relevant reports
• Coordination of volunteer engagement activities (forums events, training, communications)
• Leadership of volunteer teams as needed
• Supporting team members in the delivery of volunteer programs when required.

Selection Criteria

Our newest team member will have:

• Highly developed and relational and communication (written and verbal) skills.
• Highly developed competency with Microsoft Office programs (including Excel), database systems (ideally Better Impact), online training platforms.
• Experience developing and delivering training modules, both face to face and online.
• Experience managing end to end recruitment and onboarding processes. 
• Excellent planning and organisational skills. 
• Tertiary qualifications in health, community, or education sector (or sustained work experience in one or more of these fields).
• At least 3 years of experience working with volunteers is preferred.
