The Victorian Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner Collaborative (VPCNPC) is very excited to celebrate their upcoming forum which marks the 50th time members of the collaborative have met to share knowledge, support each other and provide mentorship to advanced practice Palliative Care Nurses across Victoria.

Since its inception in 2009, the VPCNPC has grown to a community of over 60 members including Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Practitioner Candidates, Master of Advanced Nursing Practice (Nurse Practitioner) students and Palliative Care Clinical Nurse Consultants. Each year the collaborative runs regular forums to provide specialised education and invaluable networking opportunities for its members.
The agenda for this day of celebration is packed full of exciting and ground breaking presentations from Practitioners representing both hospital and community based care settings. It will be a hybrid event allowing greater access and engagement by allowing members to attend virtually or in person, Thursday 16 February 2023, at Caritas Christi Hospice in Kew.
To celebrate, members from other Nurse Practitioners collaboratives in Victoria have been invited to help showcase the exceptional work of Nurse Practitioners across Victoria.
This 50th forum event promises to be a celebration of the current best practice being provided across Victoria by VPCNPC members as well as an opportunity to look back at the outstanding work the Collaborative has achieved since the first forum held in 2009.
