Calvary Health Care Bethlehem is running two programs to support carers of someone with a life-limiting illness in their caring role and beyond.
Caring 'till the end: a carer perspective
This two-part online workshop enables carers to participate from the comfort of their own home.
Session 1 - The carer journey
Thursday 26 October 10:30am - 12:30pm
Focuses on the carer experience: the emotions, issues to consider and where to find support.
Session 2 - Understanding death and dying
Thursday 2 November 10.30am - 12:30pm
Gently explores what happens during the process of dying with an emphasis on how carers can look after themselves during this time.

Online Bereavement Group (statewide)
Calvary Health Care Bethlehem’s statewide online Bereavement Support group is a free online program for Victorians who have cared for someone who died in the last 12 months.
These weekly sessions will run from Tuesday 3 October to 21 November 2023, 3:30pm - 5:00pm and will be facilitated by Calvary’s experienced bereavement counsellors, social workers and pastoral carers.
