About the role

La Trobe University’s Public Health Palliative Care (PHPC) Program is based in the Department of Public Health and founded public health approaches to end-of-life care that have now achieved international recognition. In Australia, we provide leadership for practice, education, teaching, evaluation and research at national, state and local government levels.

This position is 12 month fixed term, part time (4 days per week or 0.8 FTE)

Selection Criteria

To be considered for this position, you will have:

  • High level of written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in translating academic writing and complex ideas into accessible language for different purposes and audiences.
  • Demonstrated interest or experience in public health, health promotion, older persons and/or palliative care.
  • Experience in developing and delivering workshops and/or coaching sessions in both a face-to-face an online environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver education and training in the public health palliative care sector and or palliative and end-of-life care.
