Summary

Seeking a highly motivated and qualified Occupational Therapist to join the MCM Palliative Care Services. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced occupational therapist to engage in a new pilot project exploring the use of occupational therapy within our palliative care service. 

We are looking for someone who has:

• Demonstrated competence in implementing and maintaining self-care routines including reflective practice
• Competence with electronic client and carer records and computer skills
• Experience in working with people living with a life-limiting condition and their carers
• A sound understanding of community based palliative care service provision

Selection Criteria

We are looking for someone who has:

Essential:

• A tertiary qualification in occupational therapy and current registration
• The ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team setting
• Demonstrated experience in providing occupational therapy in a palliative care, community health or related field
• Demonstrated competence in providing occupational therapy to people of varied social, cultural, and religious backgrounds
