Our new, world class facility has been built at Deakin University (Waurn Ponds) and has been designed to provide community palliative care in a home-like environment when people need it most, including end-of-life and overnight palliative care, which also supports the carers and family members of our guests.
About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and empathetic People and Culture Manager to join our team on a part-time basis (with flexible work options!). This role is an integral part of our organisation, responsible for fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture that aligns with our purpose and values. This newly created position (0.4 EFT) will report to the Chief Executive Officer and be a member of our Leadership Team.
Selection Criteria
We are looking for an experienced People and Culture Manager who has:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in HR management, including leadership roles.
- Strong understanding of Australian workplace laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive culture change and employee engagement.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to align HR initiatives with organisational goals.
- Exceptional problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and related software.
- Previous experience in the health sector would be advantageous.
