Summary

Rosehaven is a 5 bedroom home, set on 4.5 acres that provides person centred respite and end of life care.

Our services are growing and expanding, and we are looking for an assistant manager/s. We are open to job sharing of this role.

Selection Criteria

We are looking for someone with the following skills:

Essential:

  • Nursing, allied health or community services background/qualifications. 
  • Advocacy and assessment skills. HLTAID013 or equivalent certification 
  • Flexible and reliable. 
  • Efficient and organised. 
  • Excellent communication skills. 
  • Ability to work autonomously 
  • Recent police check, or willing to obtain one. 
  • Commitment to follow and promote Rosehaven's mission and vision. 
  • Current Victorian driver's licence. 
  • Ability to work within a holistic team environment. 
  • A compassionate and caring nature. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite software and willingness to learn volunteer management data base.

Desired: 

  • Postgraduate qualifications in palliative care 
  • Experience in people / volunteer management 
  • Knowledge and understanding of delivery of community palliative care. 
  • Personal care experience. 
  • Food Handlers certificate
