About the EMRPCC:
The Eastern Metropolitan Region Palliative Care Consortium (EMRPCC) is a group of funded agencies (St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne, Eastern Health and Eastern Palliative Care Ltd). The EMRPCC also has representation from other health and palliative care stakeholders. The Consortium covers the 7 local government areas of the Eastern Metro Region.
About the role:
The EMRPCC is seeking an experienced Consortium Manager to implement policy, initiatives and strategies for the palliative care sector in the Eastern Metropolitan region. It involves cross sector engagement and offers an opportunity to effect change through improved palliative support to the region.
The role supports the Consortium in undertaking strategic planning, participates in and leads Consortium projects and working groups, and is a key contact for both external and internal stakeholders. The role fosters strategic alliances and partnerships with a focus on the development of communication channels, processes, and tools.
The Consortium Manager has an operational focus that includes preparing and monitoring budgets, quality systems and governance information. In addition, the role provides coordination and secretariat for the Consortium Executive and Advisory Committees. The position is a fixed term to 30 June 2026 and is up to 6 days per fortnight based at either the Kew or Mitcham offices.
Selection Criteria
About you
- You will have excellent project management skills within a health setting, and high-level interpersonal skills.
- Computer competency is essential to produce professional and high-quality documentation and presentations.
- A great communicator at all levels, you will have a high level of attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Extensive experience in the Aged Care and Palliative Care sectors is highly desirable.
