The Innovation and Development Officer will play a key role in advancing projects and initiatives that enhance the quality, effectiveness, and sustainability of our community-based palliative care service.
Working collaboratively with a broad range of stakeholders, including staff, consumers, and management, the role will focus on identifying opportunities for improvement, analysing service gaps, and supporting the design and implementation of innovative service models and processes. Through consultation, data analysis, and project coordination, you will gather insights and evidence to inform service development priorities.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning, coordination and delivery of service development and innovation projects in alignment with organisational strategy.
- Conduct needs analyses, stakeholder consultations, and environmental scans to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain project documentation including plans, risk registers, progress reports, and evaluation frameworks.
- Facilitate effective engagement and communication with internal and external stakeholders to support project objectives.
- Assist in the design, piloting, and evaluation of new models, processes, and resources that strengthen service delivery.
- Analyse data and feedback to identify trends, outcomes, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Prepare high-quality written reports, briefings, and recommendations for management and governance committees.
- Support the integration of project outcomes into operational practice, ensuring sustainability and alignment with clinical governance frameworks.
- Contribute to a culture of innovation, collaboration, and quality improvement across the organisation.
